Registration

Usually the word brings to mind something school related, or thoughts of going to a conference, or maybe even fear (e.g. "license and registration please," or "your registration is expired). I must say that I'll never see the word in the same way again after this past weekend. We BEGAN the process of registering. I know that I (Joey) have talked to several of you who want to know where we're registered, and....good things come to those who wait. We're not quite ready to tell you yet. We've still got to finish and look through the lists again before we let you in on where we're registered. I will say that I have a new found respect for those who have to try to find and scan barcodes on items regularly (apparently on some items you have to cover up half the barcode w/ one hand while holding the scanner at a 57.8 degree angle and double-tapping the trigger to get them to scan).
We're also coming closer to the Men's Attire, but are still experiencing a few roadblocks (mainly my current indecision, and also my desire that it look just right). More on this later...

Moving Right Along

More planning is getting done. Jen now has a dress, which I've asked her to see, but of course she's going to keep me in suspense. Also, we have a photographer, musicians, and bridesmaid's dresses (well, I don't have one, and neither does Jen for that matter, but you get the point). We'll continue to post more as we make more plans, and we'll definitely let you know when we've registered.

And the Date Is...

We are happy to say that we now have an official date for the wedding. We'll be getting married in Greenville, SC. The recently officialized (is that even a word?) date is Saturday, May 19th.
